Step 1

Find out which cloud solution your organizations uses to exchange files with external companies.

Examples:

FileCloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, IONOS, DropBox, etc.

Step 2

Grant access to this system from your IT, login and create folder (with or without subfolders) to upload files and data you‘d like to share with external companies.

Step3

Every system provides options to share folders. Identify the most easy option, e.g. to share a link to a folder. Everybody with this link can access the files. Copy this link into the clipboard (CTRL-C).

Step 4

Enter a room in ivCAMPUS and click the attachment icon on the upper right (nearby the red door icon). Create an new file and select internet link. Paste (CTRL-V) your link and eventually rename the Link in the attachment list by clicking the pencil). Users allowed to enter the room can access the files now.

Optional

To further restrict the access to files a Campus manager can restrict the access to a room. Please note that only members of the CAMPUS (not guests) can be whitelabeled to enter such a room.
