Campus users can now add videos to rooms that can be accessed in the attachments panel.

If a person is alone in a room, they can use a video to get information. If more than one person is in a room, the advantage is that they can watch the video simultaneously and pause as needed to discuss content or answer questions.

So videos can be attached, played, paused or even repeated so that key points can be discussed and messages effectively reinforced. The person who starts the video can pass playback control to other participants if needed.

To do this:

  1. Enter any room and access the attachments panel.

By clicking the video thumbnail in the attachment, the user starts a presentation with that video.

Users can transfer video playback controls to another user by selecting from the list.

Only one user can control the video playback at a time!

During playback, the video has the standard YouTube controls that everyone is familiar with.
