The virtual office

Everyone used to go to the physical office every day. Everyone knew the place.

We have learned. There is another way. But only if we all go to the office every day again - in a new place, the virtual office.

Close the browser tab in the evening. 'Out' is 'off', then you can no longer be reached.

During the lunch break, you signal in a special room e.g. "canteen", "lunch break" or that you are at lunch. Managers can create and/or rename rooms and areas themselves.

Wrong: Only go to the virtual office for Jour Fix or agreed appointments and otherwise not be visible.

Wrong and unnecessary: Request a magic link every day. (Only necessary once a week ;-))

Wrong: you are being monitored here. Wrong: usage data is recorded here.

Wrong: switch off browser notifications (so you miss every tap and every message).

Wrong: Leave colleagues in the dark as to whether you are available. Asking via chat is annoying and inefficient.

Wrong: Use ivCAMPUS as a substitute for video conferencing. Then there will still be too many calendar entries, too many participants in meetings and the decoupling of employees working from home.

Wrong: make lots of appointments. get rid of old habits. You don't need appointment blockers for everything. As soon as everyone stops filling up their colleagues' calendars for consultations, there will be more time for spontaneous coordination and social interaction.
